We tried this venue for the first time and were very impressed with the quality and quantity of the salmon. The place is new and very clean; the service was excellent and friendly; the sauces and vegetables were tasty. The chicken wings were so tasty. We can't wait to return!

My cousins brought me here to celebrate my 25th birthday. I love shabu, and I have yet to try this spot out. Parking: They're located in a medium sized plaza, and there's plenty of free parking. Ambiance/Environment: It's very clean inside. There's a decent amount of seating. We visited on a Thursday night, so it wasn't too busy. Service: Our server was efficient. We didn't catch her name, but she was knowledgable about the menu when we asked questions. Throughput was under 15 min after ordering. After receiving our orders, our server checked on us a couple times. Soup & meats: My bf and I ordered the 'specials for 2' and went with the shared brisket set. The soup was decent; wasn't too salty. My favorite part were the briskets. It came with a generous amount of briskets. The toppings were also fresh. This special included beers and desserts.

This new location opened pretty recently. I've been to several locations, so I somewhat have a reference point. Service was exceptional (as I think should be to start a new establishment off on the right foot). Food was very fresh; veggies nice n crisp, meat was marbled perfectly with a bright flesh red. I wanted to lower my rating to 3 stars because I ordered the meat marinated, but they barely marinated a few of the outer pieces. All the other locations seem to marinade every single piece. I didn't lower rating because overall, it was still very good.

It was my first Shabu Shabu experience and I must say I really like it. The meat, the sauces, the veggies were all good. We ordered some good beer and soju and we had a blast. The staff was awesome too! I highly recommend.

Mokkoji is my favorite Shabu shabu place. I often go to the one in Riverside, I love the shrimp ball they have. It’s just so delicious.
